Booking terms and conditions — Nordlandsmuseet

Booking and confirmation

Bookings are made via email or booking form at nordlandsmuseet.no . The booking is binding when written confirmation is received from Nordlandsmuseet.

Payment

The invoice will be sent after the event has taken place. The payment deadline is 14 days from the invoice date. In the event of late payment, Nordlandsmuseet reserves the right to invoice late payment interest in accordance with the Late Payment Interest Act.

Changes

Changes in date or content must be reported in writing as soon as possible. Nordlandsmuseet will confirm whether the change can be implemented. Downgrading the number of participants must occur no later than 7 days before the agreed date. If downgrading between 7 and 5 days before, 50 percent of the difference between the original and new number of participants will be invoiced. If downgrading later than 5 days before the agreed date, the full price will be invoiced.

Cancellation of group tour

Cancellations must be made no later than 3 days before the agreed date. Cancellations made less than 3 days before will be charged 50 percent of the agreed price. Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged the full price.

Cancellation of meeting rooms and venue rentals

Cancellations must be made no later than 7 days before the agreed date. Cancellations between 7 and 3 days before will be charged 50 percent of the rental price. Cancellations later than 3 days before, or in case of no-show, will be charged the full rental price.

Food order cancellation

Cancellation of food orders must be made no later than 5 days before the agreed date, as raw materials are ordered in advance. If cancelled later than 5 days before, the full price of the food order will be invoiced. Rental of meeting rooms follows separate terms.

General terms and conditions for rental of premises

Cleaning is included in the rental price. The tenant is responsible for leaving the premises in a tidy condition. Damage to the premises or equipment caused by the tenant will be invoiced separately.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to fulfill the agreement if this is due to circumstances beyond the parties' control, such as extreme weather, strikes, pandemics or fire. Both parties are obliged to notify the other party as soon as such circumstances arise.

Responsibility

Nordlandsmuseet is not responsible for damage to or loss of guests' personal belongings during the visit. Guests are advised to have their own travel and accident insurance.

Privacy

Personal information collected when ordering is only used to process the order and is kept in the accounting system for as long as necessary according to Norwegian law. See our privacy policy at nordlandsmuseet.no for more information.

Applicable law

These terms and conditions are subject to Norwegian law. Any disputes will be resolved amicably. If this is not successful, Bodø district court venue.
