Guided tour

Nordlandsmuseet offers guided tours at all of our 20 museum facilities. Guided tours can also be booked outside the summer season, although several of the museums only have regular opening hours in the summer. This allows for visits and dissemination all year round by appointment.

Free admission for kindergartens and schools

Schools and kindergartens are always welcome at the facilities at Nordlandsmuseet! What is available at the different facilities may vary slightly, contact us if you want to find out before your visit. Find the facility you want to visit, and fill out the contact form to send a request for a visit. Below you will find all the facilities sorted by municipality.

Conference and venue rental

We also offer the opportunity to book conferences and meetings at selected facilities. Here you can meet in historic and inspiring surroundings that give the event a very special setting. In addition, you can rent premises at Fauske Folk Museum Select a museum below to read more.

Private events

Several of Nordlandsmuseet's facilities can be booked for private events in unique and historic surroundings. We offer premises that are suitable for both celebrations and social gatherings, with the possibility of adapting to the type of event and needs.

For DMCs, tour operators and tourism stakeholders

Do you plan experiences for guests in Nordland? Nordlandsmuseet is happy to collaborate with DMCs, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, the cruise industry and other tourism players who want to include our museums and cultural venues in their programs.

We can assist with suggestions for arrangements, group adjustments, capacity/scheduling, practical information and opportunities for advance booking and planning well in advance.
