Practical information

  • Each tour takes 40 minutes

  • From 5 to 10 people per group (can take up to 20, but then the group will be divided to go to the attic)

  • Available in Norwegian and English (English must be notified in advance)

  • Photography is permitted without the use of flash

  • Available during the summer months

Prices for guided tours on request

  • Weekdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM: NOK 70 per person, minimum 5 paying guests.

  • Groups of less than 5 people still pay a minimum of NOK 350.

  • Children have free entry.

  • In the evenings and on weekends: basic price NOK 2,500 plus NOK 70 per person.

Facilities

Entrance doors: None of the entrance doors are universally designed. Toilets: There are 2 ordinary toilets in the building. No HC toilet. Outdoor area: The outdoor area is paved with gravel and shingle, so it may be difficult to move around with a wheelchair and walker. The place also has an outdoor café and garden. Companions: Companions with a companion certificate have free entry to the museum. Guide dog: Four-legged assistants are of course welcome. Visually impaired: No accommodations Hearing impaired: No accommodations
