Guided tour of Fauske Folk Museum

You can book three different tours at Fauske Folk Museum . One tour tells about the everyday life of the northern Norwegian fishing and farming family. Another tells the stories of the famous healer Johannes Brateng. The third is a tour of the seasonal temporary exhibition. We can also adapt the presentation as desired based on these themes.

Practical information

  • The tour takes approximately 45 minutes.

  • Maximum 20 people per group. For larger groups, we can provide multiple facilitators and divide into multiple groups. The tour is adapted to the group size, as some of the premises are small.

  • Available in Norwegian and English (English must be notified in advance)

  • Photography is permitted without the use of flash

  • Available during the summer months

Prices for guided tours on request

  • Weekdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM:

    • Adults NOK 90, students/honors NOK 70.

    • Children under 18 have free entry.

    • Groups (min. 10 paying) NOK 70 per person.

  • In the evenings and on weekends: basic price NOK 2,500 plus NOK 70 per person.

Facilities

Museum shop. Free parking. Toilet and disabled toilet in Rødbrakka. Other buildings have not undergone adaptations for disabilities.
