Architecture walk at the Hamsun Center
Our guide takes you through the nooks and crannies of the building, into Hamsun's literature and upbringing. Hamarøy , and shows how architect Steven Holl created what he calls "a hamsun figure in the architectural sense."

The architecture walk takes 30 minutes to 1 hour.
From 15 to 25 people per group
Available in Norwegian and English (English must be notified in advance)
Photography is permitted without the use of flash
Available all year round

Prices for guided tours on request
Weekdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM: NOK 150 per person, minimum 10 paying guests.
Groups of less than 10 people still pay a minimum of NOK 2250.
Children have free entry.
In the evenings and on weekends: basic price NOK 3000 plus NOK 120 per person.
