Kindergarten day at Fauske Folk Museum

Welcome to a different kindergarten day at Fauske Folk Museum !

Guided tour

You can book a tour of Grandma's House. Here we can look at strange objects and learn a little about what it was like in the old days.

Play and fun

We have a large child-friendly area that invites free play and activities. It is also possible to borrow traditional children's toys in the yard. Here we can offer skipping ropes, stilts, running wheels, and horseshoes for horseshoe throwing.

The fire house

This is a small log house that schools and kindergartens, by prior reservation , can use for free. We will fire up the mine before you arrive. Here you can grill, bring bread dough to bake finger bread, or just have a place to warm yourself on wet and cold days.

Grilling

We have 3 large outdoor grills here in the yard that you are free to use. Bring charcoal and lighter fluid, and you can enjoy hot grilled food.

Life on the shore

On warm summer days, it might also be a good idea to study what lives and moves on the shore here. the Folk Museum .
