Historical update during the break
If you need a break during the day, you can book a guided tour of the area or the Main House. We offer several tours that can be customized for your group:
Anna Elisabeth of Kjerringøy takes you back to the 19th century clipfish and crane production. The tour takes place in the Main House, where all the objects belonged to Anna Elisabeth and her family. Here you get an insight into life on a northern Norwegian farm. trading post , from the servants' everyday life to the family's privileges.
Kjerringøy trading post as an Innovative Enterprise is a tour for those who want to learn from the founders of history. Here, the business acumen of Christian Sverdrup, Jens Nicolai Ellingsen, Anna Elisabeth Ellingsen Zahl and Erasmus BK Zahl is at the center, and how they ran the trading post as a forward-looking and profitable business.
The fish farmer gives a tour from a different angle, focusing on life and everyday life at the trading post from the fish farmer's perspective.
The 1842 farmhouse can be opened especially for the group. Or you can simply enjoy the unique coastal landscape right outside the conference room.
