Guided tour of Crofter's Farm Kjelvik

During the tour you will hear the story of the four Kjelvik siblings, their Sami ancestors and the life they lived. Crofter's Farm Kjelvik.

Practical information

  • The tour takes approximately 1 hour.

  • Maximum 40 people per group. For groups of more than 10, the guide tells the story outdoors, and the audience walks around the houses themselves.

  • Available in Norwegian and English (English must be notified in advance)

  • Photography is permitted without the use of flash

  • Available during the summer months

Prices for guided tours on request

  • Weekdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM:

    • Adults NOK 90, students/honors NOK 70.

    • Children under 18 have free entry.

    • Groups (min. 10 paying) NOK 70 per person.

  • In the evenings and on weekends: basic price NOK 2,500 plus NOK 70 per person.

Facilities

Mini café and museum shop. Outdoor toilet at the beginning of the path from the parking lot. The hills in the terrain make it an advantage to have an assistant for the disabled. The houses are not adapted for the disabled.
