Guided tour of the church site
We monitor human activity on Gildeskål from the year 200, with burial mounds from the Iron Age, traces of stone extraction on the rocky cliffs, distinctive place names and the cemetery. The tour provides a greater understanding of why the church site was built here.

The tour takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.
From 10 to 25 people per group

Prices for guided tours on request
Weekdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM: NOK 70 per person, minimum 10 paying guests.
Groups of less than 10 people still pay a minimum of NOK 700.
Children have free entry.
In the evenings and on weekends: basic price NOK 2,500 plus NOK 70 per person.
Facilities
Service building with toilet. Simple café in the summer season. Guide dog allowed. Narrow entrance doors on some buildings. Uneven terrain. No facilities for the visually/hearing impaired. Parking : There is a small parking lot at the church site that can be used.
