Café in Leivsethuset with summer workshop for children

Every Wednesday from the 1st to the 29th. July at 11:00 - 15:30 you can visit the café in the cozy surroundings of Leivsethuset at Fauske Folk Museum Here you can buy Fauskes marble cake, Nordlandslefse and cured meat platters. We also sell coffee/tea, ice cream and soft drinks. 

The summer workshop for children in the café is open between 11:00 - 12:00.
Price to attend the workshop: 60,-. All materials are included. Tickets can be purchased at the café.
Suitable for children from 4 years old. Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Language: Communication in Norwegian and English.

Summer workshop for children:

• Wednesday 1st July : We are making butterflies and caterpillars. There are many exciting things to see in nature during the summer, and we are going to make our own.

• Wednesday 8th July : With rags and a strip of cloth you can join in and weave your own little weaving. It could be visual art or maybe a rag rug for your toys?

• Wednesday 15 July : Tin cans can be made into nice mini houses to decorate your garden or flower bed. You can also use them as small plant pots.

• Wednesday 22 July : Join us and nail! We'll nail our own wooden peg that you can put on the wall at home.

• Wednesday 29th July : Make your own sailboat. Sticks are tied together and with scraps of fabric we make sails.
