The summer season at the Hamsun Center begins on June 13th. The center will be open every day, and we will start the daily program where you can, among other things, participate in an architectural walk and attend this year's lecture on Knut Hamsun. The summer season lasts until August 16th.

The café in Leivsethuset is open every Wednesday from the 1st to the 29th. July 11:00-15:30.

Honna - Concert at Steigen Folk Museum
This summer, Hoanna will return to Steigen on their second summer tour, with the fresh debut album "E vil heim" in their luggage. There will be an outdoor concert at Steigen Folk Museum with the sale of coffee, snacks and something good in both the cup and the glass. If the weather is bad, the concert will be moved to a more suitable location. There will be a concert anyway!

Would you like to experience when we start the machine down in the basement of the gun bunker? The engine was manufactured by Maschinenwerke Mannheim in 1942 and powered the generator that supplied the bunker with electricity. It still works!

Frida is very happy to have visitors and chat away over a cup of coffee. There is actually a lot to do in the house and garden, and maybe you or your children can help a little?
An activity for the whole family: every day something new happens.
Frida bakes, cooks, washes clothes. Come by!
The event is suitable for the whole family, of all ages. Frida primarily speaks Norwegian, but can also speak English if needed.
