Artists Floortje Zonneveld and Marthe Thu are Artists in Residence in Molobyen from August to the end of September. Join us for a small print-and-print workshop about the prospects for their new art project!

MY VIEW, YOUR MOUNTAIN

During the workshop we explore the motives and perspectives from Bodø -area that has stuck in our minds and memories. We use these motifs to create our own “etchings” on recycled milk cartons.

This is a simple and creative DIY etching technique that does not require any previous experience with graphics or printmaking.

The participants' motifs are transformed into small prints, which are created by pressing the etchings onto paper through a pasta machine.

Of course, participants can take their own artwork home.

Feel free to bring a picture of a view you want to print as inspiration, whether it's a picture on your phone of a view, or a picture of a photograph or painting at home.

• 1 hour workshop with a maximum of 15 participants, age 6+

• The workshop will be held in Norwegian, but we can also explain in English if necessary.
