Johan Parelius Nordhuus from Sømna became world-famous as Keiserlosen.
Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany sailed annually to Norway on the ship Hohenzollern. Johan Parelius Nordhuus was the emperor's regular pilot along the Norwegian coast from 1889 to 1914 .
Tor Erlend Nordhuus, the great-grandson of the Emperor's Horse, has collected this story in his book: Hohenzollern's Last Horse . He now comes to Fauske Folk Museum to tell about his great-grandfather and the exciting life story aboard the Hohenzollern.
After the lecture, there will be a sale of the book "Hohenzollern's Last Pilot".
