In the fall of 1722, the Sami apostle Thomas von Westen interviewed a Sami sorcerer in "Bodøens Kirke" about his rune boom.

IN Beiarn The Sami were warned by the villagers against von Westen and his teachers. Those who listened to the churchmen could risk being sent to Greenland or "the Turk to Spise".

Conservator at Saltdal Folk Museum - The Blood Road Museum Ronald Nystad-Rusaanes tells about rune bombs, "Satan's Angels", beliefs and superstitions among the "Bejeren Parish People".
