Saturday, September 12th, Ivar Jensen and Bjørn Greve Alsos invite you to Kjerringøy trading post to an unusual cultural evening, where coastal culture meets our own times with both seriousness, humor and a sidelong glance.

Through live music, film, lectures, storytelling and good stories, we explore what life along the coast has meant for the building of Norway, and why the knowledge, values ​​and experiences from here are still astonishingly relevant.

The evening is Nordlandsmuseet's contribution to the Cultural Heritage Days 2026, with this year's theme "Cultural Heritage in Danger", and offers a program created by Ivar Jensen and Bjørn Greve Alsos, both of whom have strong connections to Kjerringøy. trading post .

Fjøsen Café serves Bacalao made from local ingredients, and perhaps a little taste surprise as well – all included in the ticket price.

"We think it could be a surprising and pleasant evening in the middle of the idyllic landscape of Kjerringøy. This time it will be coastal culture (almost) free of nostalgia and childhood memories... We offer live music, maybe a little sing-along "on the edge", maybe a premiere of newly written and self-produced music, film, lectures, chatter about the astonishing relevance of our old coastal culture in our high-tech world" , says Ivar Jensen.
