About the position
By Steigen Folk Museum at Laskestad at Engeløya We are looking for summer hosts who can be good hosts and give our visitors good experiences. We would like you to be able to work throughout the season, but at least for four consecutive weeks. The working day is varied and exciting. No two days are the same.
Season Steigen Folk Museum : 22.06.26-16.08.26
Opening hours Tuesday-Sunday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Working hours will be within the museum's opening hours.
Weekend shifts after shift.

Place of work: Steigen Folk Museum in Steigen municipality.
Work tasks
Host our visiting guests.
History presentation and guided tours for individual visitors and groups.
Preparing and serving simple dishes in the café.
Sale of souvenirs and tickets from the museum shop.
Keep public areas clean and inviting.
The following applies to all applicants:
We are looking for positive, outgoing and independent people with good language skills in Norwegian, English and preferably German.
You must be positive and able to work independently, as well as cope with a sometimes hectic environment.
Good knowledge of the local environment is an advantage.
Applicants must be over 16 years of age.
If you have professional knowledge and/or talents in areas such as music or crafts, please include them in your application.
We offer
Salary according to tariff in accordance with the Museum Agreement.
Please note that applicants must find their own accommodation.
