Historical walk on Ørnes

Join us on a pleasant and educational tour through Ørnes ' rich history. On Saturday 4. July at 11:15 we start from Ørnes trading post and walk together through the streets and areas that have been the center of trade, fishing and local communities for generations. The guide takes us back in time with stories about old trading houses, famous people, coastal culture and how Ørnes has developed from a small trading post to the current administrative center in Meløy .

The hike is set up at a leisurely pace so that everyone can join in, both those who know the place well and those who are visiting. Ørnes for the first time. Along the way you will hear exciting stories, see historic buildings and gain a deeper understanding of the place's soul and significance for the Helgeland coast.

Bring good shoes, appropriate clothing and a bit of curiosity, this will be both a great trip and an experience you will remember! Perfect for families, friends, tourists and anyone who wants to learn more about our local history.
