Walk in the footsteps of what was once one of the hubs along the coast. Ørnes trading post is a historical gem on the coast of Northern Norway, and is one of a total of 200-300 trading post that once existed. Between June 20th and August 8th, it is summer season at Ørnes trading post , and you can take part in daily guided tours, enjoy a coffee and homemade cakes in the café.

Ørnes trading post is a perfect stop if you are driving the Kystriksveien (FV17). It is centrally located in Meløy , with a short distance to Svartisen glacier hiking, kayaking, boat trips and other nature experiences in the area.

The trading post offers a quiet atmosphere with the opportunity to stroll around the old trading post, which is idyllically located down by the sea. You get history, culture, coffee and peace in one of the best preserved trading posts in Northern Norway.
