Bodø made it – have you taken care of it?

Do you have items from Bodø clothing factory, Bomek – or perhaps from the old Nordlandsbryggeriet?

This fall, the City Museum will be filled with city history again. This time, we will take a closer look at industry and production in Bodø throughout the 20th century – and here we need your help.

Maybe you, or your grandmother, has a coat from Bodø clothing factory hanging in the attic? A wool blanket from Bertnes Uldvarefabrikk in the cabin – or an old packaging from Bodin Meieri in the basement storeroom?

Do you have something you would like to donate or lend to the exhibition? It can be anything from an object, to a photograph from inside the factory hall, or a good story from a day at work – we collect both physical objects, images and stories that can help convey the city's industrial history.

Share your stuff with us

On Wednesday, June 25th from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM, we invite you to an open day at the City Museum. Feel free to bring your object, or a photo of it, and come by for a nice coffee chat with us.
