Bodø made it – have you taken care of it?

Do you have items from the Bodø clothing factory, Bomek – or perhaps from the old Nordlandsbryggeriet?

This fall, the City Museum will be filled with city history again. This time, we'll take a closer look at industry and production in Bodø throughout the 20th century – and we need your help here.

Maybe you, or your grandmother, have a coat from Bodø clothing factory hanging in the attic? A wool blanket from Bertnes Woollen Factory in the cabin – or an old packaging from Bodin Dairy in the basement?

Do you have something you would like to donate or lend to the exhibition? It can be anything from an object, to a photograph from inside the factory hall, or a good story from a day at work – we collect both physical objects, images and stories that can help convey the city's industrial history.

Share your stuff with us

On Wednesday, June 25th from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM, we invite you to an open day at the City Museum. Feel free to bring your object, or a photo of it, and come by for a nice coffee chat with us.
