What can you experience at The Jekt trade museum from June 1 - August 31
Daily tours
Learn about the amazing history of yachting with a guide! The tour starts outside where you will learn more about the houses in Bodøsjøen Open-air museum and fishing and farming community. After this, you will take a tour of the exhibition, and learn about the time before and during the jetty. You will also get to know the temporary exhibition “Women of the Coast”.

Takes you to the boathouses in the open-air recreation area where you will hear about Lofoten fishing in the old days - and finally, the story of 13-year-old Jakob, and how he worked as a cook boy on his first trip to Lofoten fishing.

On The Jekt trade museum you enter a world full of power and powerlessness, profit and risk. You will learn about hardships and life on board, the fishing and farming community, and not least the history of the stockfish trade. With Bodøsjøen
