Guided tour every weekend at the City Museum in Bodø
Throughout the 20th century, industry, production and craftsmanship were a natural part of everyday life in Bodø . Factories and workshops provided work, community and belonging. Today much of this is gone, but the traces live on in the city, in history and in the people. Now you can take part in a guided tour every Saturday and Sunday.

The city's industrial heritage
The exhibition “Made in Bodø ” tells the story of the city's industrial heritage. Here you will learn about the workshops and factories throughout the 20th century, and reflect on how local industry, production and working life have left their mark.
Made in Bodø is not only a nostalgic tribute to “the way it used to be”, but also an invitation to reflection, conversation and recognition. A reminder that history is not only found in archives, but in the city around us and in the people who still carry it with them.
The exhibition shows original objects, stories and memories from a time when "made in Bodø » was a given, and raises questions that concern us all:
What have we lost when production is moved out?
What can we gain by bringing back more local production?
And how can past experiences inspire a more sustainable future?

The City Museum is open 11:00-16:00 every day, and below you will find the times for tours on Saturdays and Sundays.
