People create CLOTHES create people

Nordlandsmuseet has in recent years collected clothing from the period 1940 and onwards. This has resulted in this season's exhibition "People make CLOTHES make people" at Steigen Folk Museum Here you will see slouch pants, embroidered dresses, psychedelic patterns and much more.

You will learn more about how the consumption and production of clothing has changed over the years, and how we as consumers can make a difference when it comes to taking care of our clothes for as long as possible. We also have our own "stitching station", where we hope you will pick up the darning needle.

The exhibition is suitable for both children and adults.

Fare:
Adults: 90,-
Student/honors: 70,-
Children: Free
Entrance ticket also includes entry to our permanent exhibitions at the Folk Museum Tickets are purchased upon arrival.
