Want to learn how to make your own mini-varafell?
Join a workshop and learn about varafell, the Icelandic version of bátrya. Here you will learn how to sort wool and prepare it for spinning and knotting into fabric.
Along the way, you will also gain a good dose of material knowledge and insight into the traditional crafts of the coastal women. Vibeke will also take you into the exhibition "From her hands".
The workshop draws inspiration from the exhibition "From Her Hands", created by textile artists Vibeke Steinsholm and Monika Sunnanå Ravnanger.
