Nordlandsmuseet nominated for the 2026 Opplystprisen

Nordlandsmuseet has been nominated for this year's main award at the Enlightenment Conference in Bodø The award will be presented at the gala dinner at Ramsalt Hotel on Thursday, September 24th.

The Opplystprisen goes to a business that has taken major steps in its own development, and which through its growth has contributed to positive ripple effects for the entire Salten region. The jury considers, among other things, economics and growth potential, innovation and sustainability, reputation, regional ripple effects, as well as management and ownership.

— We are delighted with the nomination and congratulate the other nominees, Nordasfalt and Haneseth Gruppen, says Director Ole J. Furset in Nordlandsmuseet . — As a museum for the whole of Salten, we contribute to local identity and place development in all nine municipalities in which we are present.

The jury for this year's award consists of jury leader Tord Kolstad from Kolstad Eiendom, Merete Nordheim from Bodø Næringsforum and Erik Tostrup from Favn Servering, who represents last year's winner.

The enlightenment conference is organized by Bodø Business Forum and this year marks ten years since its inception. The conference addresses developments in the business community in Bodø and Salten — from trade, fisheries and reconstruction to today's urban development, internationalization and a changing labor market.
