Nordland Museum at Norwegian Travel Workshop

We recently had a busy and inspiring week at the Norwegian Travel Workshop in Bodø, where we had the opportunity to collaborate with 20 other adventure and tourism companies in Salten. Our goal has been clear: to promote the region as an attractive destination.

During the week we have had the pleasure of showcasing Kjerringøy Handelssted, Løp farm and The Jekt trade museum to visiting groups. In addition, we have had countless meetings with tour operators and travel agencies from all over the world, where we have shared what Nordlandsmuseet has to offer.

It is particularly exciting to note that the world has now opened its eyes to Salten. The region is not just seen as a stop on the way to Lofoten, but as a destination in itself, worth spending several nights in.

Thanks to Visit Bodø, Innovation Norway Tourism and Boreal Adventure for the collaboration!
