Literature evening at the Hamsun Center
There will be a book talk with a playlist: Sigurd Stranda in conversation about the short story collection Skråplog.
The Hamsun Center's own Sigurd Stranda makes his debut with the short story collection Skråplog, published by Gyldendal this fall.
The eight short stories in Skråplog depict a coastal community where the cold never quite lets up. The texts are rooted in everyday life in northern Norway – in fishponds and firework smoke, in the smell of cakes in retirement homes, in snowplows that sparkle in the light of car headlights, in everything that creaks when the cold sets in.
