16 June - 9 August: Tuesday-Sunday at 11-16.

NB! Closed 3rd - 5th. July because of the Kjelvik game.

 

Anniversary party: Crofter's Farm Kjelvik — 40 years as a museum

Sunday 21 June 2026, at 11:00–16:00

This year marks 40 years since Crofter's Farm Kjelvik opened as a museum, and we are celebrating with a big party in Kjelvika. There will be speeches, a mini-concert with Susanne Lundeng, activities for children, face painting, plant dyeing and sales of møsbrømlefse and sour cream porridge. A café with coffee and cakes is open in the barn.

Admission and all activities are free. Food and drinks are sold on site.

Sørfold municipality Bus sets up from Prix at Straumen at 10:30 a.m. Registration at the Service Office at the town hall, tel. 75 68 50 00.

Organized by Nordlandsmuseet , Sørfold municipality , Sørfold local history club, Nordre Sørfold handicrafts club and the Kjelvik game.

Family day in Kjelvika

Sunday 9 August 2026, at 12.00–15.00

Join us for a family day at Crofter's Farm Kjelvik with old-fashioned toys, baking cookies in the kitchen, wooden beads and face painting.

Ticket price: NOK 50 for children and adults. Tickets are available at the door. Coffee, soft drinks and cakes are sold on site.

  • Regular admission: adult 90 NOK, senior/student 70 NOK

  • Children under 18 have free regular admission.

  • Group entry (min. 10 paying): NOK 70 per person

  • Tickets are purchased at the entrance.
