Kjerringoy trading post is one of Norway's best preserved trading posts from the 19th century. You can cycle here from Bodø city ​​center in one day, through one of the region's most beautiful coastal landscapes.

May 18 is International Museum Day, and this year the day is about how museums can build bridges between people across culture, society and geography. Nordlandsmuseet marks the day with a 50% discount on entrance tickets at Kjerringøy trading post , City Museum in Bodø and The Jekt Trade Museum from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd May. 

From March 28 to April 4, the market is open every day from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a café and a stall. A week of activities for all ages awaits you, from candle casting and egg painting to music quizzes, historical tours and family Easter. Keep an eye out for the Easter eggs hidden around the area.
