Bodø Biennale: Performance Studies in Sápmi
Performance Studies in Sápmi is a festival for politically engaged performance art, initiated in 2024 as part of Marija Griniuk's postdoctoral research on the curation of politically charged performance art. The 2026 edition focuses on meetings between different generations of performance artists and researchers working on political performance and Sámi contexts.
From the kitchen corner, humorist Kristian juggles his own interpretation of Hamsun's Nobel Prize-winning novel with anecdotes, readings and stories. Aided only by the kitchen utensils he has at hand.

The City Museum in Bodø invites you into the city's industrial heritage with the Made in exhibition Bodø Here you will learn about workshops and factories throughout the 20th century, and reflect on how local industry, production and working life have left their mark – in the city, in society and in people.
The exhibition Chronology of Urgencies is a chronological presentation of Hans Ragnar Mathisen's artistic work as a response to political struggles and activism among the indigenous Sami people.

Summer program on Kjerringøy trading post
Summer program at The Jekt Trade Museum
The summer season at the Hamsun Center begins on June 13th. The center will be open every day, and we will start the daily program where you can, among other things, participate in an architectural walk and attend this year's lecture on Knut Hamsun. The summer season lasts until August 16th.
June 13-28: 11 am-4 pm daily
June 29 - August 2: 11 am - 6 pm daily
August 3-16: 11 am-4 pm daily
Guided tour every hour.

Fauske Folk Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 AM–4:00 PM from June 16 to August 15.
The café in Leivsethuset is open every Wednesday from the 1st to the 29th. July 11:00-15:30.
